Event Terms and Conditions Agora SA 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern all ticket purchases and participation in Agora SA 2025, including the Conference and Exhibition, held on 31 October 2025 at The Hellenic Venue, Germiston. By purchasing a ticket or attending the event, you agree to the following:


1. Ticket Types & Inclusions

1.1. Ticket types available:

  • Conference Delegate (R2750 excl. VAT): Access to all speaker sessions, exhibition area, delegate pack, networking, lunch, beverages, and cocktail hour. (31 October)
  • Exhibition Visitors: Free access to the exhibition area (31 Oct).

1.2. All tickets are subject to availability and may sell out without notice.


2. Pricing, VAT & Payment

2.1. All prices are displayed excluding VAT. VAT will be added during checkout.
2.2. Tickets must be paid in full via WooCommerce with Yoco secure checkout at the time of purchase.
2.3. A tax invoice will be issued via email and serves as proof of payment, your ticket and admission.


3. Ticket Delivery & Entry

3.1. Tickets are delivered as a PDF tax invoice via email. This document serves as your ticket.
3.2. No QR codes or physical tickets will be issued in advance.
3.3. Upon arrival at the event, attendees must:

  • Present ID matching the name on the ticket
  • Present their invoice (printed or digital)
  • Collect a name badge and lanyard at the manual registration desk

4. Transfers & Substitutions

4.1. Tickets are transferable to another guest at no charge.
4.2. Written notice must be provided at least 7 days before the event to process a transfer.
4.3. No substitutions will be processed within 7 days of the event.


5. Cancellation, Refunds & No-Shows

5.1. No refunds will be issued for cancelled bookings.
5.2. Tickets may be credited toward a future Agora SA event, or transferred to another person (see clause 4).
5.3. No-shows without prior written notice forfeit 100% of the ticket value.


6. Force Majeure

6.1. In the event of postponement or cancellation due to circumstances beyond the organisers’ control (including but not limited to load-shedding, public unrest, or global health emergencies):

  • No refunds will be issued
  • Ticket holders will be offered credit for a future event
    6.2. The organisers are not liable for any travel or accommodation costs incurred.

7. Age & Guest Restrictions

7.1. Conference and Gala Dinner are for guests aged 18 and over only.
7.2. Children are permitted at the Exhibition only.
7.3. There is no limit on the number of tickets that may be purchased per person.


8. Photography & Media Consent

8.1. Professional photography and videography will take place during Agora SA 2025.
8.2. By attending, you consent to the use of your image, likeness, or voice in future promotional content for Agora SA events.


9. Liability & Indemnity

9.1. While all reasonable measures will be taken to ensure a safe event, the organisers are not liable for:

  • Personal injury, illness, or death
  • Allergic reactions or dietary issues (dietary requirements MUST be specified at checkout)
  • Lost, stolen, or damaged property
  • Costs incurred from transport, accommodation, or other third-party services
